Fabco Sanctuary Ltd is a leading specialist for the restoration of metal windows of all types and periods including cast iron, wrought iron, steel and bronze, in formats such as lattice, flat iron and hopper. Windows may date back as far as the 15th or 16th Century but the majority of windows date from the 19th or 20th Century.
When restoration is carried out correctly the lifespan of the metal window is greatly extended and where possible subject to consent, the windows can be adapted to meet more modern day expectations whilst maintaining the authenticity and originality of the window, often this is the only option available to owners of listed buildings.
At Fabco Sanctuary Ltd we undertake the full complete restoration service aswell as offering a full replica manufacturing service.
This is where we differ from most companies; our initial background in traditional techniques such as blacksmithing combined with our state of the art cnc manufacturing facility allow us to cover a complete spectrum.
We have made replica windows to replace those that are a thousand years old and produced contemporary new windows that push the limits of modern engineering feasibility.
As well as our standard ranges we offer a CAD design or project solution service combined with a complete service from survey through manufacture to installation across the UK.
Our facility is unequalled as far as steel window manufacture is concerned. We decided it was time to modernise the manufacturing process for new windows with most of our competitors still using the same techniques that did 50 years ago. Alongside our traditional manufacturing workshop, we have the fastest CNC cutting and machining capability available, combined with advanced welding techniques this allows us to produce a product that is not only more accurate and precise but is a higher standard with a better finish and enhanced performance. More interest to the client is that we can achieve this at a lower cost and in a shorter time period.
There is a reason why we have the reputation that we do and why the company is growing at the rate it is, despite the current economic climate. That reason is that we have maintained the principles on which the company was formed, those principles are even more important in today’s market.
